A
lot of companies talk about “building relationships"
with their clients. We actually do it. "People"
are still what makes the technology work and finding the right
people is what we do best. Our goal is not to compete with huge
staffing firms or general job boards. It is to serve our selected
clients extremely well and fill their most difficult to fill and
specialized requirements. Additionally, we secure compelling opportunities
for the select professionals we place.
We
learn and understand our clients’ business: The
technology they currently use, the platforms, vendors, etc. they
may be moving towards, as well as any upcoming projects in their
future. We also strive to understand the company culture, the
hiring processes and anything that would allow us to become a
transparent extension of the business, as our services are needed.
Having the
right technical skills is critical, but if the person with those
skills isn't a good fit for the team, it doesn't matter.
Many of the candidates we work with come to us from referrals,
so we know more about them than what is on their resume. Good
people know good people. Still, we check additional references,
we screen for communication skills, team compatibility, work ethic
and other characteristics that we know are important to our clients.
We
have real relationships with our candidates. We know
if they are interviewing with a number of companies and are candid
with the client and the candidate about how that may affect the
hiring process. We know if there will be complicated logistics
involved with relocation and will do what we can to help. We also
know the candidate’s long-term career goals and why a particular
opportunity might be more compelling than other. We understand
that a good opportunity for them is almost always about more than
just money.
We know the people, we know the technology, and we make the connections.
